TJX Credit Cards
You can choose from two types of TJX credit cards:
TJX Rewards Credit Card: A member of TJX Rewards Card will receive 10% off on your first in store purchase using the card. Plus, you can earn points for every purchase you make. These points can then be redeemed for reward certificates. Cardholders get 5 points for every $1they spent at the following stores – TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra Trading Post. Every 1000 points can be redeemed for $10 reward certificate. Customers are not bound by any limitations on how may points they can accumulate. They also get unique privileges like special shopping hours, fashion experiences and more.
TJX Rewards Platinum Mastercard: Members of the platinum credit card receive all the above benefits plus the following. A platinum member earns 1 point for $1 spent on any store that accepts Mastercard. Cardholders are also protected by the 0% fraud liability. This means that even if your card is used for any purchases without your knowledge, you will not be deemed liable for the same. You can use the card anywhere in the world and also access cash from ATMs. Members also get price protection and extended warranty coverage.
Members are charged a 26.99% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for purchases, which can vary based on the market rate. Platinum members will additionally be charged 26.99% APR for balance transfers and 29.99% for cash advances. All cardholders will have 23 days from the closing of the billing cycle to pay off your credit card balance. Of you succeed in doing so, you will not be charged any interest on your purchases. However, when you are charged interest, a minimum of $2 will be charged. Platinum members will be charged a transaction fee for balance transfers and cash advances at $10 or 4% of the amount, which ever in higher. Plus, they will also be charged a flat 3% for each foreign transaction. If any credit card holder fails to pay his bills on time, he will also be charged a late payment penalty of up to $35.
